Murter is one of those places you visit once—and never forget.

The small island on the Dalmatian coast is connected to the mainland by a bridge, super easy to reach, and perfectly located if you want to explore the Adriatic by yacht. Whether you’re chartering a yacht for the first time or you’re an old sea dog—on a charter trip from Murter you’re right in the middle of paradise.

Murter is charming, relaxed, and authentically Croatian. Here you’ll find everything you need before casting off—from fresh groceries to a laid-back cappuccino right at the marina.

Highlights at a glance:

  • Cool bars and konobas with sea views
  • Slanica Beach – fine sand and turquoise-blue water
  • Two marinas to choose from: ACI Marina Jezera and Marina Hramina
  • Close to Kornati National Park – a true sailing paradise

Murter is considered a popular gateway to the fascinating island world of the Kornati—but there is also plenty to discover on the island itself. The harbor town of Jezera scores with its charming flair, a small beach, as well as cozy bars, restaurants, and shopping options. Murter town, the island’s main hub, is much livelier and especially popular with night owls—this is where the action is in the evening.

South of the island, the bays of Vucigrade and Kosirina invite you to swim and linger. The crystal-clear, turquoise water makes them true dream spots for anchoring enthusiasts. In the popular swimming bay of Vucigrade you’ll also find the well-known restaurant Cigrada, appreciated for its delicious seaside cuisine.
